Green for all

From Green Wiki

Green For All’s commitment to securing one billion dollars by 2012 to create “green pathways out of poverty” for 250,000 people in the United States. The realities of the environmental issues we face are clear, as can be seen through dwindling resources, detrimental health effects, and natural catastrophes. Therefore, Green for all is reaching out to everyone, all communities, all people, involved in the solutions that are coming in the following years. Green For All will work to ensure everyone understands that what’s good for the environment can also be good for the economic well being of all people.

[edit] Vision

Green for all believes that a shift to clean energy can improve the health and well-being of low-income people, who suffer disproportionately from cancer, asthma and other respiratory ailments in our dirty-energy economy. Green thinking can also contribute to the creation of entrepreneurial, wealth-building opportunities for those who need new avenues of economic advance. As an organization green for all believe that the national effort to curb global warming and oil dependency can simultaneously create good jobs, safer streets and healthier communities.

Green for All's highest calling is to ensure that the clean-energy economy in the 21st century in fact does all of these things. Indeed, we would say that America’s chief moral obligation is to build a green economy that is strong enough to lift many people out of poverty.
