IDEA (Interfaith Dorset Education and Action) is an interfaith environment organisation in the South of England. Started in March 2007 by Rabbi Neil Amswych, Principal Rabbi of Bournemouth Reform Synagogue, at the first local interfaith environment conference, attended by around 80 people. The 2008 conference - "United We Act" - will take place on Monday September 15th 2008 and is likely to attract another 60 people.

On World Environment Day (June 5th) 2008, IDEA launched their website - www.eco-faith.org . The site includes faith responses to the environment, scientific responses to the environment, and practical action tips. It also includes a blog and information for schools.

Between 2008 and 2009, IDEA is set to establish smaller branches across Dorset to enable greater local participation and involvement.
