Talk:Global Warming
From Green Wiki
The description of global warming here on Green Wiki:
Global Warming From Green Wiki
"Global warming is the alleged increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-twentieth century and its projected continuation.
There is currently no consensus as to whether any increase is due to human activity."
... this statement is in stark opposition to the even-handed scientifically based description on Wikipedia itself: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warming
To say there is no consensus is just not right, since the overwhelming scientific opinion about the science and fact of global warming is written in many reports referenced in the main Wiki article and links. Of course there are questions and scientists who for various reasons disagree with some of the published science, but in no way does this indicate "no consensus."
I suggest this site Green Wiki stay out of this scientific realm (which quickly becomes political in the non-scientific blogosphere) and just refer to the main entry for definitions and all the references (which do include skeptical scientists and controversies).
Thanks

Gary, it looks like someone came in and edited it specifically to say that, according to the page history. I'm deleting it now, but if you notice anything like that in the future please feel free to edit it yourself and make a note on the Talk page (like you did here!)
