Study Abroad - Australia. Focus: Environmental Studies/Alternative Agriculture February 2005 to April 2005

• Designed, planted and harvested an organic sustainable garden
• Studied different governmental issues and policies in reference to the environment
• Participated as a farm hand on a Biodynamic Farm
• Researched Alternative Living
• Camped in the Outback and hiked vigorously in a myriad of terrains

• Participated in a two day education training workshop
• Learned the importance of conserving Horseshoe crabs
• Correlated shorebird migration and horseshoe crab spawning
• Recorded data on horseshoe nests on the South Shore of Long Island

• Developed alternative agriculture workshop for children ages 9-14
